Grace extended toward believers is measured by the penalty Jesus accepted, and the suffering He endured.  How can we fathom all that He went through in our stead?  But this he did, until the claims of eternal justice were fully met – claims determined by the Trinity even before sin had entered the world.

In Adam all die, but in Christ all are made alive!

Jesus proclaimed that no one had seen or understood the Father except the Son and that all there is to know about God should be seen through what the Son has revealed about Him. If you have seen the Son, you have seen the Father. This is also true for every believer. What you see about yourself should reflect how the Father sees you: as one of His beloved children made perfect in the Son. We are not “covered” by Jesus but fully “cleansed” and stand before God holy as He is holy. I am because He is.

Sinful behavior for the believer is not conducive to the New Creation identity in Christ.  Righteous behavior follows a comprehension of righteous identity.

An appeal to earnestly contend for the faith and its distinctive character.

Jesus said, "no one knows the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him". Only those who receive the revelation of God through Jesus will have a true understanding of Him. The Old Covenant does not reveal God as He is!

Christ became flesh, suffered and died on a cruel cross, not to appease an angry God, but to satisfy the deep love the Trinity shared for man before time began.
