Does how we perceive something have an effect on how we receive it?

When heaven and earth collided a complete joy was offered to all of us, celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and understand the Joy that was given to us, a joy that cannot be taken away. We are priceless to god, he accepts us wholly and with immeasurable love, Grace personified came to us to bring us joy, Word became flesh for us, and brought peace,joy and hope to this world.

“A weary world long awaited the hope the Christ would bring. However, a hope that is built on speculation or even belief that things “could” get better isn’t the kind of hope we've received from Jesus. At Christmas, we celebrate the hope of what is guaranteed for us. Our hope is built on the finished work of Jesus, which does not disappoint and never will. He is our hope, and out of His love for us He will never let us down.”

Scripture, seen through the finished work of Jesus is understood in its intended, life giving, and inspirational way… vs. the lens that is dependent on an attempt to fulfill, what man could not fulfill - un-finsished, or before Jesus’s victory over sin and death. The result of an “un-finished lens” is that we see what is wrong with us, instead of what is right him.

We love because he first loved us.. from there we can grow in whole-hearted, courageous love and see the word and life in its intended perspective.
